"Jessica of Art & Soul Events is seriously a dream come true! We initially found her on Pinterest (crazy I know) when I found photos of a wedding she had done that had previously at our wedding venue near Joshua Tree. We completely fell in love with the look and vibe of that wedding and knew we had to reach out to see if she might be available to help with the design and coordination of ours. From the initial coffee date, we knew that she would be the best investment we would make to pull off the desert wedding of our dreams. Throughout our entire wedding planning journey, Jessica consistently kept us on track and on point - whether it was with scheduling our vendors and booking our rentals on time or helping us make sure we stayed true to our vision despite some changes to our overall color palate late in the game. Fast forward to the week of our wedding when the weather forecast called for 50 mph winds during the setup of our ceremony and reception. "I don't even know where to start! First of all, I'm quite a stickler for timely responses and questions getting answered and they were ON IT from the very get-go. I decided a little late in the game that a wedding coordinator was needed and began my hunt. I contacted many but Art & Soul stood out to me. They seemed like loads of fun and responded to me in no time at all. That was just the first thing that gave me total confidence in them. The last couple of months leading up to the wedding was a whirlwind but everything was put in order and organized (we all know I needed that). We had a couple of meetings prior to the wedding, one at the venue and the other at the reception site. Plans were drawn out and I had no doubt in my mind things would go as planned. Vendors were handled with the utmost professionalism and come the day of the wedding, these girls were ON FIRE. I didn't have to worry about a single thing that day. "If anyone tries to tell you that don’t need a wedding coordinator/day of planner, either they have never had a wedding, or are just plain crazy. From the moment Art & Soul Events began to help us with our wedding, I knew we made the right decision. They were always available and quick to reply. One of the first things they did, was contact all of our wedding vendors. They introduced themselves and became the main point of contact, always cc-ing us. This immediately relieved stress and put us at ease. They knew the right questions to ask, and reviewed all contracts. This wasn’t their first rodeo! Even if you want a “relaxed” wedding, as we did, a timeline is crucial! Art and Soul Events worked with us to develop a timeline that was perfect for us. The day of the wedding they stuck to the timeline without rushing anything or making us feel like we were “behind”. The rehearsal was well organized and executed, and really relieved any stress we had about what to do during the ceremony. As far as the day of the wedding, I could never begin to thank them enough for all the work they did to set up the venue. These hardworking ladies got into gear at 7 am and really didn’t stop until midnight! They worked with all vendors and set up every square inch of the venue. They tackled any and all issues that arouse the day of, and trust me there will be some! I really felt like they were an extension of myself and my husband, doing all the things I would want to do if I was the one setting up.
