Evangeline + Evan were married May 14th, 2016 at a private estate in Encino, CA and everyone wore white. Evan surprised Evangeline with a first look guitar serenade. We had a welcome party cocktail hour before the ceremony and then all guests paraded over to the ceremony area with Evangeline's mother and brother leading the way singing and strumming along to "Going to the Chapel". We served a delicious boozy punch, the wedding was overflowing with delicious food from Gjusta Bakery (served family-style) under the stars, and for dessert we had a paletas cart.
The ceremony backdrop was a custom planet made by Laura Stewart Design and the gorgeous florals were by the fabulous Of the Flowers! She transferred the 50 ft garland that framed the ceremony planet to the dinner table and surrounded it with black candles and a variety of fruit instead of flowers. We rented the handmade tables, chairs, and fur throws from The Wooden Palate and the beautiful china and glassware were rented from Fern & Bone! It was such an amazing day and I am so happy that Evangeline and Evan chose me to be their wedding planner. I loved helping them bring their magical and moody vision to life!

At The Ruby Street not a detail has been missed! Originally built in 1895, The Ruby Street has undergone a complete restoration and is available for weddings, parties, and special events. The interior space is over 4,000 square feet and it also has a huge outdoor area and deck.

The rental rates vary depending on the day of the week and number of guests. The site fee includes a 12 hour rental period (11AM-11PM), use of their sound system + projector, indoor/ outdoor furniture, a private bridal suite, office w/wifi, outdoor bar, and stylish custom wood tables+ chairs to seat up to 200 guests!
A wedding coordinator/planner is required to manage the event and Art & Soul Events is thrilled to be a preferred planner at The Ruby Street! Valet is required for parties over 30 and they have an agreement with a lot nearby. And one of the biggest perks is you can bring in vendors of your choosing!
